This page is a
help for those who want to learn HTML tools, it is not exhaustive, you will find
the main commands and some tricks.

HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) is the language used to build hypertext
documents can be viewed on the Web. An HTML document may include text, images,
animation and sound.

HTML works on the following principle:

The HTML can be written in lowercase or uppercase.

Anything that is not between "<" and ">" is simply treated as text to display.

<TITLE> </ TITLE>: Title of the document. This information appears in the title
bar of the WWW client.

TITLE OF THE PAGE

This text will appear in the title bar of the browser when a user views your
page on the screen.

Example: this page is HTML Guide.

BODY

Everything contained <BODY> between and </ BODY> will be displayed on the
screen is an integral part of your document, this is where you enter your text,
insert images and build your links.

BODY OPTIONS

BACKGROUND

Allows you to save a picture in the background.

BGCOLOR

Allows you to change the color of the background without having to load an

black, but can be changed in the browser preferences.

LINK

Allows you to change the color of links.

Allows you to change the color of selected links.

VLINK

Allows you to change the color of links already visited.

COLOR

The color you want can be described in two ways:

with the English name of the color,

or more precisely by a symbol # and 6 digits (in hexadecimal - Base16).

First the format of the color is "# RRVVBB"

# Is the symbol that helps to differentiate the value of a color name.

RR the amount of red in color.

VV the amount of green in color.

BB the amount of blue in color.

Color: # 000000 is black (00 red, 00 green and 00 blue).

Color: # FFFFFF white (the number FF is the maximum possible)

The sequence of hexadecimal numbers is (of min. Max.): 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ABCDE
F.

Example:

The background will be black, white text and links in pink.

Formatting characters

Option Style B (bold), I (italics), U (underlined), S (strikeout) ...

FONT SIZE option to manage the font size

The text is centered, in bold font with a size greater than the standard size.

No policy is specified which means that the default font in the Preferences menu
to be displayed.

 This marker allows you to change the font, and also other parameters such
as size and color.

 Or 2, 3, -2, -3, or 3, 4, 5 : The font size in pixels

Formatting
paragraphs

Text can be positioned left, center or right of the screen.

Option with ALIGN RIGHT (right), CENTER (center) and LEFT (left).

The text is right aligned with a font size of 1 and higher in fat

Marqueur CENTER, RIGHT or LEFT to position the image horizontally.

You can change the initial size of an image:

HEIGHT = "value" to change the height

WIDTH = "value" to change the width
